Our online store is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to offer and sell our products and services.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately. However, photographs, colors, textures, proportions, and other visual details may appear differently depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, device displays, and production variations.

BlueRidge Whispers products are handcrafted in small batches. Minor variations may occur between products and batches, including differences in:

  • Wax color or finish

  • Soap color, shape, or texture

  • Fragrance intensity

  • Label placement

  • Decorative appearance

  • Fill level

  • Product weight within reasonable manufacturing tolerances

These normal handmade variations do not necessarily mean that a product is defective.

Fragrance descriptions are subjective. We do not guarantee that every customer will perceive a scent in the same way or experience the same fragrance strength or performance.

Product performance may be influenced by room size, ventilation, warmer type, candle maintenance, burn conditions, temperature, personal scent sensitivity, and other factors outside our control.

4. Product Availability

Products may be available in limited quantities and may be discontinued, restocked, reformulated, renamed, or modified at any time.

Placing an item in your shopping cart does not reserve it. Inventory is not guaranteed until an order has been successfully submitted and accepted.

We reserve the right to:

  • Limit quantities purchased

  • Limit sales by customer, household, address, payment method, geographic area, or order

  • Refuse suspected reseller or distributor orders

  • Cancel orders affected by inventory errors

  • Discontinue a product without advance notice

Any offer made through the website is void where prohibited by law.

5. Pricing and Payment

Product prices, bundles, promotions, discounts, shipping rates, and free-shipping thresholds may change without advance notice.

We do not directly store complete payment-card information.

An order confirmation email acknowledges that we received your order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted or shipped.

We reserve the right to review, refuse, limit, or cancel an order before shipment.

Reasons may include:

  • A pricing or inventory error

  • Unavailable materials or products

  • Payment authorization failure

  • Suspected fraud

  • Violation of a promotion

  • An incorrect or undeliverable address

  • A product safety or legal concern

  • An order that appears intended for unauthorized resale

When we cancel an order after collecting payment, we will issue the applicable refund to the original payment method, except where another lawful resolution has been agreed upon.

We are not responsible for delays, failed delivery, losses, or extra expenses caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

8. Processing Times

Processing time is the time required to prepare an order before it is transferred to the shipping carrier.

In-stock orders are generally processed within the timeframe stated in our Shipping Policy.

Processing times may be extended during:

  • Sales

  • Holidays

  • Restocks

  • Product launches

  • Severe weather

  • Supply shortages

  • Periods of unusually high order volume

Processing estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Carrier transit time begins after the carrier receives the package and is separate from our processing period.

9. Preorders and Made-to-Order Products

Certain products may be sold as preorders, backorders, next-batch items, or made-to-order products.

By purchasing one of these products, you acknowledge that:

  • The product may not be ready for immediate shipment

  • The estimated processing or shipping timeframe will be shown on the product page or associated announcement

  • Estimated dates may change because of supply availability, production needs, weather, carrier disruptions, or other circumstances

  • Orders containing both in-stock and preorder products may be held until all products are ready

Unless otherwise stated, we generally ship mixed orders together.

Requests to split an order may require an additional shipping payment.

Cancellation eligibility for preorder and made-to-order products is governed by our Cancellation Policy and Return and Refund Policy.

10. Shipping

Shipping rates, destinations, processing information, estimated transit times, address responsibilities, free-shipping qualifications, warm-weather shipping terms, and delivery procedures are governed by our Shipping Policy.

Shipping and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing.

Once a package has been transferred to the carrier, delivery may be affected by weather, transportation interruptions, carrier volume, address issues, holidays, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

11. Shipping Protection

Optional Shipping Protection may be available during checkout.

When Shipping Protection is purchased, eligible claims for loss, theft, damage, breakage, or other covered events are subject to the terms, procedures, deadlines, documentation requirements, and decisions of the applicable protection provider.

When Shipping Protection is declined or removed, the customer accepts the shipping risks described in our Shipping Policy.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, BlueRidge Whispers LLC is not responsible for replacing or refunding packages that are lost, stolen, misdelivered, broken, damaged by heat, or otherwise damaged while in transit when Shipping Protection was declined.

Shipping Protection does not cover issues caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.

Nothing in this section eliminates rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

12. Returns, Refunds, Exchanges, and Cancellations

Returns, exchanges, refunds, replacements, cancellations, and damaged-item reports are governed by our Return and Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy, and Shipping Policy.

Because our products are fragrance-based and may be used, opened, warmed, burned, exposed to environmental conditions, or otherwise altered after delivery, eligibility requirements may apply.

A dislike of a fragrance does not necessarily mean the product is defective.

We may require photographs, packaging, shipping labels, order information, or other documentation before approving a damage or shipping claim.

Refunds are generally issued to the original payment method unless store credit or another resolution is agreed upon.

Original shipping fees and Shipping Protection charges may be nonrefundable except where required by law or expressly stated in the applicable policy.

13. Discounts and Promotions

Discount codes, automatic discounts, bundles, free-shipping promotions, gifts with purchase, reward offers, and other promotions may be subject to additional terms.

Unless expressly stated:

  • Promotions cannot be combined

  • Discounts do not apply retroactively

  • Discounts have no cash value

  • Discounts may exclude certain products

  • Discounted totals may affect free-shipping eligibility

  • A promotion may be limited to one use per customer, household, address, account, or payment method

We may cancel or adjust orders involving suspected promotion abuse, unauthorized code distribution, technical errors, duplicate use, or circumvention of promotional limits.

We may modify or end a promotion at any time, but changes will not unlawfully alter a completed and accepted purchase.

14. Store Credit and Rewards

Store credit, cashback rewards, promotional balances, or loyalty benefits are subject to the terms displayed when issued.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated:

  • Store credit is not redeemable for cash

  • Store credit cannot be transferred

  • Store credit may not be used to purchase additional store credit or gift cards

  • Rewards may be reversed when an order is canceled, refunded, disputed, or determined to be fraudulent

  • Promotional credits may have an expiration date when legally permitted and clearly disclosed

Any statutory rules applicable to purchased gift cards remain unaffected.

15. Gift Cards

Purchased gift cards may be used toward eligible purchases through our website.

Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

Customers are responsible for protecting gift-card codes. We are not responsible for unauthorized use after a code has been delivered to the purchaser or intended recipient, except where the unauthorized use resulted from our error or another obligation imposed by law.

Gift-card purchases may be excluded from promotions, rewards, discounts, or free-shipping calculations.

16. Product Safety and Proper Use

You are responsible for reading and following all product labels, warnings, care instructions, usage instructions, and safety information.

Our products must be used only for their intended purpose.

Candles, wax melts, fragrance oils, car diffusers, soaps, and related products are not food and must not be eaten or ingested, even when they resemble or smell like food.

Keep all products away from unsupervised children and pets.

Stop using a product if it becomes damaged, overheats, leaks, behaves unexpectedly, or causes irritation.

Failure to follow supplied instructions may result in fire, burns, spills, property damage, personal injury, allergic reaction, or other harm.

17. Candle Safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Candles must be kept away from children, pets, drafts, flammable materials, unstable surfaces, and heat-sensitive objects.

Burn candles only on stable, level, heat-resistant surfaces.

Trim the wick and follow the maximum burn-time instructions provided with the product.

Do not use a candle if its container is cracked, chipped, broken, or otherwise damaged.

Stop burning a candle when approximately one-half inch of wax remains at the bottom of the container, or at the level stated in the product instructions.

Candle containers may become hot during use. Do not move or handle a candle until it has been extinguished and completely cooled.

18. Wax Melt and Warmer Safety

Wax melts must be used only in an appropriate wax warmer and in accordance with the warmer manufacturer’s directions.

Do not place wax melts directly over an uncontrolled flame or on a surface not designed for warming wax.

Do not add water or another substance to melted wax unless specifically instructed.

Do not overfill the warmer dish.

Never leave an operating warmer unattended.

Keep wax warmers and melted wax away from children, pets, water, drafts, and flammable materials.

19. Car Diffuser and Car Freshener Safety

Car diffusers and hanging fragrance products must be securely closed, kept upright when required, and installed according to the supplied directions.

Do not allow a diffuser or hanging product to obstruct:

  • The driver’s view

  • Steering

  • Mirrors

  • Controls

  • Pedals

  • Gear selectors

  • Airbags

  • Safe operation of the vehicle

Fragrance oil may damage dashboards, upholstery, plastics, painted surfaces, leather, wood, trim, and other materials.

You are responsible for wiping spills immediately and preventing the diffuser cap, plug, cord, or container from becoming oversaturated.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlueRidge Whispers LLC is not responsible for vehicle or property damage caused by leakage, spilling, improper installation, excessive saturation, heat exposure, misuse, or failure to follow instructions.

20. Soap and Skin-Contact Products

Soap and other skin-contact products are intended for external use only unless expressly stated otherwise.

Avoid contact with the eyes and do not ingest.

Ingredients and fragrances may cause sensitivity or allergic reactions in some individuals.

Review available ingredient information and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Statements regarding ingredients, traditional uses, scent experiences, or customer opinions are provided for general information and are not intended as medical claims.

Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

21. Warm-Weather and Environmental Conditions

Wax, soap, fragrance products, labels, and packaging may be affected by heat, cold, sunlight, moisture, or extended outdoor exposure.

Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and retrieving packages promptly after delivery.

Changes caused solely by environmental exposure after delivery do not necessarily mean that a product was defective when supplied.

Heat-related shipping claims are governed by our Shipping Policy and any Shipping Protection purchased.

22. Allergies and Fragrance Sensitivities

Fragranced products may cause discomfort or sensitivity in some individuals.

Customers are responsible for reviewing available product information before purchase and use.

Discontinue use if irritation, breathing difficulty, headache, rash, or another adverse reaction occurs. Seek appropriate medical assistance when necessary.

23. Accuracy of Website Information
