Crisp Macintosh apple comes through first, followed by fresh pine needles and a soft, earthy finish of cedar and green moss.

Christmas on the porch

Picture a wooden bushel on the porch, filled with red apples and tied with a scrap of Christmas ribbon. Someone’s tucked a few pine clippings around the rim. Pick up an apple and you get both scents at once. There’s the bright snap of the peel and the evergreen resin left on your fingers. Underneath is a quieter scent, like moss on the shady side of the woodpile. That little moment in the Blue Ridge is the heart of this candle.

Candle details

Scent profile — crisp Macintosh apple, woodland pine, cedar and green moss.

Wax and wick — a coconut-soy wax blend with one cotton wick.

Size — 13 oz net weight in a 16 oz glass mason jar with a metal lid.

Made in — hand-poured in small batches by BlueRidge Whispers in Southwest Virginia.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0870/6942/5985/files/a-bushel-of-christmas-candle-indoor-rustic.png?v=1793664293
